    Gregory J. Gluchowski, Jr. has led the Hardware and Home Improvement (HHI) division since January of 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Gluchowski was President of HHI, a division of Stanley Black & Decker’s Security Solutions business. He led the successful divestiture of HHI from Stanley Black & Decker and the subsequent acquisition of the division by Spectrum Brands for $1.4 B in December 2012. Following the acquisition, Mr. Gluchowski has continued as President of HHI and has championed the successful integration of HHI into Spectrum Brands, while simultaneously delivering record business performance and financial results.  

    Prior to assuming the role of President, HHI, Mr. Gluchowski successfully led the early integration of the HHI division into the newly formed Stanley Black & Decker Corporation following the merger of The Stanley Works and Black & Decker Corporation in 2010. In 2011, Mr. Gluchowski also assumed responsibility for Stanley Black & Decker’s Mechanical Access Solutions (MAS) Commercial Security business where he led the development and deployment of new go-to-market strategies with an improved operating model, structure, and operating team.    

    Prior to 2010 Mr. Gluchowski served as Vice President-Global Operations, Vice President-Manufacturing, and General Manager-Mexico Operations for Black & Decker’s HHI division. In those roles, Greg provided significant leadership in developing and executing the strategies and processes that delivered significant improvements in overall operational cost, performance and customer satisfaction from 2002-2009.

    Prior to joining Black & Decker in 2002, Mr. Gluchowski served as Sr. Vice President-Customer Satisfaction, Vice President of Global Operations, Vice President of Manufacturing, and General and Plant Manager for Phelps Dodge Wire & Cable, a $400M division of Phelps Dodge Corporation. 

    Mr. Gluchowski has an outstanding track record of identifying and executing strategies that create customer, shareholder, and employee value. He is a proven organizational leader with commercial, financial and operational leadership competencies that are complemented by a team-based business philosophy. 

    Mr. Gluchowski is actively involved in the local community. He serves on the Board of Directors of three nonprofit organizations in Orange County. He has served on the Board of Directors for Goodwill of Orange County since 2009, for Children’s Hospital of Orange County since 2014 and has been the Chairman of the Board for South Slammers FC since 2014. Mr. Gluchowski also has a passion for soccer, he has a USSF National D coaching license and has been an active coach for youth soccer since 2003. Mr. Gluchowski earned a B.S. degree from Purdue University in 1988 and an M.B.A. degree from Indiana University-Fort Wayne in 1994. Mr. Gluchowski also completed the Global Management Program at Thunderbird University in 1997 and speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Szuba earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D in Systems Engineering from Oakland University. He holds 12 U.S. and numerous foreign patents and is a registered professional engineer.
